The playroom is akin to a recreational room for kids where they can play, read, and relax. It is a room in the whole house that kids can call their own. One thing that stops parents from setting up a playroom for their children is lack of space. Though having an extra room in the house that can be converted into a playroom is quite convenient, it is not always necessary. One thing you can do is to divide your child's bedroom and convert half of it into a playroom.
Reading Space: An open space should be provided for the kids to sit and enjoy their favorite book. Ideally, all you really need is a specific chair that is comfortable to make the reading process an enjoyable experience. It could be a bean bag, a rocking chair, or simply a rug with some cushions thrown on them. Although you must ensure that you don't encourage the habit of lying down and reading.
Painting an eye-catching mural on one of the walls is a good idea. You could hang a string in the room and on it display your girl's "artwork". She would love all the attention that her "creations" are getting.
